A 2023 release date for The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague anime adaptation has been revealed with a teaser trailer and key visual. The trailer and visual feature the lead characters Fuyutsuki-san (Yui Ishikawa) and Himuro-kun (Chiaki Kobayashi).

The Square-Enix published manga by Miyuki Tonogaya began in 2019 and is serialized on Gangan Pixiv. Six tankoubon volumes have been released under the Gangan Comic Pixiv label as of June 2022.

Mankyuu (The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Theater) is directing with Tomoko Konparu (Love All Play) as series composer, Miyako Karino (Dive!! main animator) as character designer, and Ruka Kawada (Kiniro Mosaic Thank you!!) as music composer. Zero-G is co-producing with Liber.
